A vital part of Creating Presence implementation is to establish relationships with other organizations who are also adopting the PRESENCE model in order to access and benefit from the PRESENCE global learning collaborative.

The Creating Presence Community of Practice is a subscription-based membership for all PRESENCE certified organizations to support you on your continued journey of being trauma responsive.

Here's what's included in the Community of Practice Membership

Yearly Certification Renewal

Your Community of Practice membership automatically renews your Creating Presence certification on a yearly basis.

Learning Materials

Continued access to all platform and programmatic materials (for internal organizational use only).

Coaching

Includes two coaching sessions with the option to add sessions. Presentations to enhance staff growth, skill integration development, facilitated discussions on select topics, strategic planning to meet specific challenges.

Symposiums

90 minute presentation and Q+A by Dr. Sandra Bloom featuring new research in the trauma field or skills for professional development. Symposiums are a Community of Practice member exclusive event at no extra cost to you. Three symposium events per year.

Community Days

Discounted admission price to Community Days. Keynote address by Dr. Sandra Bloom followed by live Q+A. Have the chance to engage with other PRESENCE certified organizations as well as prospective organizations. Open to the public for full price of admission. One Community Day per year.

FAQs

Where are these events held?

All Symposiums and Community Days are completely virtual events, although we encourage you to meet in person with other members of your organization in whatever way you may be able to tune in to the event.

Are the events required?

In order to maintain your certification status, we require your organization to attend at least two events of your choosing per year, with a minimum 20% of your organization attending.
